(The curtain rises to reveal Sky Land. Mario and co. are at Toad’s house. Mario, Luigi, and Princess are sitting at the table at breakfast as Toad carries a bowl off the stove, walks over to the table with it, and hands it to Princess.

Princess: Toad, I thought you were gonna fix me a bowl of healthy bran?

Toad: Ran out! But, I got some wholesome hay!

Mario: Well at least the pancakes look edible!

(Luigi eats a pancake.)

Luigi: Yeah, they’re really light!

(Luigi suddenly floats to the ceiling.)

Mario: Luigi, what’s going, up?

(Mario, Toad, and Princess, as well as everything else in the room, float up to  the ceiling.)

Everyone: Hey! What’s going on?

Toad: Yeow! Someone must have defeated the law of gravity!

(Meanwhile, the doomship is flying over the Mushroom Kingdom shooting a beam of light at the ground. Everything it touches, including houses, trees, blocks, and people starts floating upwards.)

Koopa: If the Princess won’t turn over her Kingdom, I’ll pull it up by the roots! Ha ha ha ha ha!

(Koopa and Kooky can be seen in the cockpit using a ray that’s firing the beam out the window.)

Koopa: And your Kooper Dooper Raiser-Upper is working perfectly!

Kooky: Of course it’s perfect! After all, I invented it!

Koopa: You did a fine job, Kooky! I always knew you were brighter than you looked! Soon everything in Mushroom Land will be levitated up to Sky World!

Kooky: And no one can stop us, cuz we have the Sky World’s ruler, Emperor Ed, locked in the brig!

(The camera pans to the back of the cockpit where Emperor Ed, a somewhat fat Mushroomer, is locked in a cage.)

Ed: This is an outrage! When my people find out you’ve captured me, they’ll revolt! They’re extremely revolting people!

(The Rocky Wrench who is guarding him growls. Meanwhile, more things are being levitated up to Sky Land, including Toad’s house, which everyone is still inside of.)

Luigi: Well, there goes the neighborhood!

Mario: What could be causing it?

Princess: Beats me! But we’ve gotta stop it right away or I’m gonna hit the ceiling!

(They watch out the window as more stuff is going up with them.)

Princess: This is terrible! Everything is going up, even the ice cream man!

Luigi: Hey, tell him I want a root beer float!

Princess: There’s important stuff going on here, Luigi!

Luigi: Hey, sorry!

(Back in the doomship...)

Koopa: Looks like I’m starting to get a rise on the Mushroom Kingdom! Ha ha ha ha ha! I’ll give the Raiser-Upper more juice!

(Koopa pulls a lever on the Raiser-Upper.)

Kooky: No! You overloaded it!

(The Raiser-Upper starts to steam and the doomship starts to shake.)

Ed: You can’t bounce me around like this! I tell you I won’t stand for it! I won’t sit down for it either!

(The cage tips over and Ed falls out of the cage and out of the window. He starts to fall and lands in a canopy bed, grabs a teddy bear, and crawls under the covers.)

Ed: Well, this is more like it! Gracious! I’ve heard of falling asleep, but this is ridiculous!

Kooky: Emperor Ed flew the cuckoo Koop!

Koopa: Rats, everything’s going wrong!

Kooky: Boy, King Dad, you really did a job on my Kooper Dooper Raiser-Upper! Now it’s a real downer!

Koopa: Never mind what I did, Kooky! Just fix it!

(Everything now returns to the ground where it originally was. Mario and co. walk out of the house.)

Mario: I wonder what that was all about?

Toad: Well, whatever it was, it’s over!

(The bed that Ed’s in lands near the house. Ed bounces out of the bed and lands on Toad and gets up.)

Princess: Toad! Are you alright?

Toad: Don’t worry! I’ll get him in the next round!

Princess: Emperor Ed! How nice of you to drop in!

Ed: Princess, we’re both in trouble! King Koopa abducted me from my castle! He wants to levitate your kingdom into my clouds with his new Raiser-Upper!

Mario: Well, Luigi, looks like we better take Emperor Ed back up to Sky World, and bring King Koopa down to Earth!

(Mario and Luigi start bashing blocks in a hilly area while Princess and Toad tie down whatever they can to the ground. Mario eventually finds a Super Leaf.)

Mario: Hey, I found one!

(Luigi finds one too.)

Luigi: Hey look, the last two Super Leaves in this part of the forest!

(They jump up to the leaves and gain raccoon power.)

Mario and Luigi: Raccoon power!

Mario: Now we can fly to the doomship, and trash Koopa’s Raiser-Upper!

Princess: While you’re doing that, we’ll tie down everything we can, in case Koopa starts levitating again!

(Mario and Luigi pick up Ed and fly him up into the clouds.)

Ed: I really appreciate the lift! My castle’s second cumulus on the left!

They arrive at the castle in the clouds and drop Ed off.

Luigi: Here’s your stop!

Ed: Oh, thanks!

(They continue to fly to the doomship.)

Mario: Looks like Koopa’s firing up the Raiser-Upper again!

(In the cockpit...)

Kooky: You bet, now it has ten times it’s original power!

Koopa: Now I can have some real fun!

(The Brothers fly into a window.)

Mario: We’ll sneak in here and surprise those two lame-brains!

(They go inside and Koopa spots them. He pulls a switch and the cage falls on top of them. They suddenly loose their raccoon power.)

Koopa: Surprise! Well well, you’re just in time to see the big show!

(Koopa turns on a monitor and watches as everything starts to levitate again.)

Koopa: Ha ha ha ha ha! It’s looks like things are starting to look up in Mushroom Land!

Mario: You won’t get away with this, Koopa!

Koopa: But I will! The Princess has no hope! I know I’ve said this a zillion times before, but at last, this time for sure, her people will rise up, and her kingdom will be mine! Ha ha ha ha ha!

(Meanwhile, all the ropes that are holding things down on the ground snap and the things start levitating.)

Toad: I can’t believe it! All the properties in Mushroom Land are going sky-high!

Koopa: This is easier than pulling teeth! Ha ha ha ha! And just as much fun!

Mario: Hang loose, Luigi, I’ll get us out of here!

(Mario pulls a chocolate bar out of his pocket.)

Mario: Hey, Rocky Wrench, all you gotta do is open our cage, and this yummy chocolate bar isyours!

Rocky Wrench: Grrrr!

Luigi: Then how about letting us borrow one of your wrenches for a minute?

Rocky Wrench: Grrrr!

(Rocky Wrench throws some wrenches but he just uses them to attack.)

Mario: Okay, that’s it! See if we ask you along on our next plumbing job!

(Meanwhile, Toad and Princess run towards her castle which is still on the ground.)

Princess: Hurry, inside!

(They manage to get inside the castle.)

Princess: Mario and Luigi should have been back by now! They must be in trouble!

Toad: As usual!

(They head down into the basement.)

Princess: Hidden somewhere in the basement of my castle is a golden chest containing golden magic wings! We’ll use them to fly to Sky World, to see what happened to Mario and Luigi!

(They enter a room filled with boxes and some other junk.)

Toad: My gosh! Didn’t anyone believe in taking out the trash? This looks like landfill heaven!

Princess: We’ve got to find the secret chamber, inside the hidden room, at the end of the unknown tunnel!

Toad: Okay! I’ll search the left side!

Princess: Good, I’ll go that way!

(Back in the cockpit...)

Koopa: I think I’ll juice it up to quadradroople power, so we can finish the whole kingdom off before dinner!

Kooky: Quadradroople power? Gee, King Dad, I don’t think you should-

Koopa: Ah, lighten up, learn to live a little!

(In the basement...)

Toad: It’s hopeless! All this junk! Frankly Princess, I had no idea you were such a secret slob!

Princess: Look, you can’t expect me to rule a kingdom and have time to take out the garbage too!

(The room starts to shake and some boxes move out of the way and reveal a door.)

Toad: Look, the secret room!

Princess: No, it’s the hidden chamber!

(They open the door, see a chest on a podium, and run up to it.)

Princess: There’s the golden box! Let’s get those magic wings!

(She opens the box and two P Wings fly out. Now with raccoon power, they fly out of the castle, which has already started to levitate.)

Toad: It’s really hard to control these raccoon power wings! I must look ridiculous!

Princess: Don’t be so self-conscious! It’s not like you’re on television with millions of people watching you! Now come on, we’ve gotta find Mario and Luigi!

(Back in the doomship...)

Mario: I hate to say it, but King Koopa finally won out! It looks like curtains for Mushroom Land!

(Luigi notices some blinds flying outside.)

Luigi: And Venison Blinds too!

Koopa: Kooky, put the Kooper Dooper Raiser-Upper on automatic pilot! As long as we’re up here, I might as well take over Sky Land too!

(Koopa starts speaking through a microphone.)

Koopa: Now here this! I, the one and only, extremely disgusting, King Koopa, am your new ruler! From now on you will obey only me!

Ed: Now listen here, you big green thing! My people will never give into your demands!

Mushroomers: Never! You tell ‘em Ed! No way!

Kooky: We can watch the fun from here! I’ve set the Raiser-Upper to CHAOS MODE!

Koopa: Ha ha ha ha ha! Good! Now things will really start jumping!

(The song “What Goes Up, May Never Come Down” starts. A bunch of houses fall on top of each other in a stack. A tree starts to spin around really fast and its fruit flies all over the place, including into Ed’s megaphone. Some people then start flying out of control. Princess and Toad finally make it to the doomship as the song ends. Ed is also levitated and is floating around with everything else.)

Koopa: Now, you dimwits, who are you gonna obey?

Mushroomers: Your wish is our command! We give up!

Koopa: That’s more like it! Ha ha ha ha ha!

Toad: Hey, Mr. Rocky Wrench!

(Toad throws a magnet onto a bar on the ceiling and the Rocky Wrench’s wrench attaches itself to it. Rocky Wrench is stuck and can’t let go. Princess opens up the cage.)

Mario: Princess! Boy are we glad to see you!

(Toad looks out the window.)

Toad: Hey, there’s my house!

Mario: Hey, that gives me an idea! C’mon, lets grab the Raiser-Upper and take it over to Toad’s house!

Koopa: At last, Sky Land and Mushroom Land are mine! After all these years, I’m getting what I deserve!

Mario: You’ll get exactly what you deserve, Koopa!

Koopa: Thief, that’s mine! Give it to me!

Mario: Alright, you asked for it! Crank it to full power! We’re levitating the doomship back to Koopa Kingdom.

(The beam hits the doomship and it goes flying away.)

Koopa: This is all your fault, Kooky!

Mario: Now we’ll put everything from the Mushroom Kingdom, back where it belonged.

(Mario pulls the lever and everything falls back to where it originally was.)

Mario: Alright, mission accomplished!

Luigi: Hmm, where was I when we were so rudely interrupted?

(Back on the ground, they are sitting at the table as if nothing happened.)

Mario: You were taking a small bite of pancake and floating to the ceiling!

Luigi: Hey, this time I’ll make sure I’m too heavy to float!

(Luigi picks up all the pancakes with his fork and shoves them into his mouth and eats them. Then he licks his lips. The curtain falls.)
