(Curtain rises to reveal Dark Land. Hip, Hop, and Kooky are in the lab at Castle Koopa. Kooky is standing next to an operating table as Hip and Hop walk up to a machine on the wall.)

Hip and Hop: We’re all set, Kooky!

Kooky: Then hit it Hip! Hop to it Hop!

(Hip and Hop each pull a lever and it charges up a pendant on the table. Kooky picks it up.)

Kooky: Oooh, we did it! This pendant is going to give King Dad the same super powers the Mario Bros. have! Whoa boy, am I smart!

(King Koopa walks in.)

Koopa: Excellent work my boys!

Kooky: Thanks King Dad! But uh, there’s just one little problem.

(Kooky hands the pendant to Koopa.)

Hip: The pendant won’t work anywhere-

Hop: Except in the Real World!

Koopa: Even better! Those big-headed plumbers can’t get their super powers in the Real World.

Kooky: So, if we can just lure those brick-brained bozos back there...

Koopa: My new super powers will help me slam dunk those lunkheads into the  trash can of doom!

(Cut to the Bros., Princess and Toad walking through Grass Land. They notice a shadow coming from behind them so they stop and turn around.)

Mario: Quick, we’ve got trouble! It’s Koopa’s doomship!

(Koopa lassos a rope and catches Luigi with it. He pulls him up and dangles  him from the doomship.)

Luigi: Whoa! Help, Mario!

(The doomship starts moving away and Luigi screams.)

Mario: Let go of my brother, Koopa!

Luigi: Whoa! Whoa!

Koopa: Why don’t you come and make me?

(The doomship stops and Koopa slides down the rope and grabs Luigi. He uses his claws to cut the rope and they fall near a pipe.)

Mario: He’s shoving Luigi into the warp zone!

(Koopa shoves Luigi into the pipe and goes in after him.)

Koopa: Exactly! And if you don’t follow us, you’ll never see Luigi again!

(Mario jumps in too.)

Mario: I’m coming Luigi!

(Toad tries to jump in but the princess stops him.)

Princess: Toad, we need you to stay behind in the Mushroom Kingdom!

Toad: What for? And why do I have to stay behind? I always stay behind!

Princess: I have my reasons Toad, you’ll find out!

(She jumps in the pipe too. They arrive in the streets of Paris, as the Eiffel Tower can be seen in the
background. Mario and Princess emerge from a manhole.)

Princess: Mario, where are we?

Mario: In the Real World. In Paris, France. And there’s Koopa with Luigi!

(They follow Koopa, who’s still holding Luigi, down the street.)

Koopa: Hahaha! This looks like a job for, Super Koopa!

Luigi: Super Koopa? Yeesh! You’ve gotta be kidding!

Koopa: How could I? I don’t have a sense of humor! Go tell your brother to  watch this!

(Koopa tosses Luigi aside, who then runs back to Mario and the Princess, and points the pendant at a fire hydrant. A beam shoots out from the pendant and hits the hydrant. Koopa kicks the hydrant off the ground and water comes gushing out along with a Super Leaf. Koopa grabs it and he gains raccoon power. His horns are now raccoon ears and his tail is a raccoon tail.)

Koopa: Hey! It really worked! Permit me to introduce you to, Raccoon Koopa!

(Koopa flies after them.)

Mario: Pinch me, Luigi!

Luigi: Hey, I don’t have to Mario, it’s true! Koopa’s super, and we can’t get our super powers out here!

(Koopa swoops down at the princess and grabs her as she shrieks.)

Koopa: Care to go for a little sight seeing flight, Princess?

(Koopa flies her over to the Eiffel Tower.)

Koopa: If that’s the way you feel about it, we’ll make your first stop, your last!

(He ties her up with a rope and dangles her from a steel beam. The Bros. fly up in a police helicopter and Mario speaks through a megaphone.)

Mario: Raccoon Koopa! We’ve got you covered! Put down your getup and surrender peacefully!

(Koopa flies over to the helicopter.)

Koopa: Sorry Mario, but I’m having way too much fun.

(He hits the copter with his tail and it goes whirling into the river. The copter lands on a submarine that just surfaced. The captain looks out of the hatch.)

Captain: (with French accent) Is everybody okay?

Mario: (pointing) Um, not exactly. Look!

Captain: Filet Mignon! We are being dive bombed by a flying reptile-raccoon? Oui oui! This is too much for me!

(Koopa flies down at them but he misses.)

Koopa: Ah! If you think my raccoon is good...

(He fires the pendant at a crate floating in the water and charges into it and emerges wearing a Frog Suit.)

Koopa: You’ll love my frog! Ribbit, ribbit!

(In the sub the Bros. and the captain are looking at the sonar scope.)

Captain: Cordon Bleu! I don’t believe it! The sonar scope says we are being attacked by a gigantic frog!

(Koopa kicks the sub.)

Koopa: Yeow!

(The sub pulls over at the shore and the three of them peek out of the hatch.)

Mario: I’m afraid you’d better believe it, Captain! And that frog is hopping mad!

Koopa: Your stupid sub hurt my flipper! And for that you’re all gonna pay!

(They all arrive at a jail and Koopa throws the three of them in a cell and locks them in. Koopa then returns to the Princess, who is still dangling from the tower. He uses his wand to contact Hip, Hop, Kooky, and Kootie Pie.)

Koopa: That’s right kids! Paris is mine! I’ve got the princess trapped in the Eiffel Tower, and the Mario Bros. in the Bastille! If you’ve ever wanted to see the wonders of Europe, now’s the time! The culture, the history!

Kooky: The French fries!

Kootie Pie: The shopping!

(Meanwhile, in the prison...)

Mario: Aw, without super powers, we’re no match for Super Koopa!

(Koopa, back in his normal form, is walking down the street spinning his wand.)

Koopa: Ha! With the Mario Bros. out of the way, it won’t be long before all of Paris is at my feet.

(Koopa stops and looks at a couple who notice him.)

Koopa: Hey, what are you staring at? Haven’t you ever seen a reptile getting ready to conquer the world?

(The couple runs off as Koopa laughs. Back at the jail, Lugi is digging up the floor with a spoon.)

Mario: We’ve got to get out of here fast before Paris is ruined!

Luigi: I’m digging as fast as I can! Oops, I just bent the spoon!

(At a clothing store, Kootie Pie tries on an outrageous outfit.)

Kootie Pie: Well everyone, how do I look?

(The people who look at her faint.)

Koopa: You look marvelous, Kootie Pie! Simply marvelous!

Kootie Pie: I knew I could count on you for an honest opinion, King Dad!

(At the Louvre, Paragoombas are flying in and out with paintings.)

Hop: Get those ugly old paintings out of here! We’ve gotta make room for our new masterpieces!

(The “masterpieces” are actually just a bunch a cheap scribbles. Hip is painting glasses, a moustache, and horns on the Mona Lisa.)

Hip: On the other hand, with a little improvement, some of these old ones look pretty good too!

(Back at the tower, the princess pulls a scroll out of her pocket.)

Princess: I’ve got to get a message to Toad to bring help.

(She throws it into the manhole. Meanwhile, in the Mushroom Kingdom, Toad is sitting next to a pipe.

Toad: (imitating Princess) We need you to stay behind, Toad! (normal voice) It’s always me! It’s not fair!

(The scroll pops out of the pipe and Toad picks it up and reads it.)

Toad: Hmm, a message from the princess. Good thing I  told the Princess I should stay behind!

(Toad lassos a ? Block and pulls really hard, causing it to lose it’s anti-gravity force. Toad puts it in a large chest. Toad then hits a block where a Goomba in a Kuribo’s shoe is standing and the Goomba runs off and the Shoe lands in the chest. Toad then carries a bunch of Fire Flowers, Frog Suits, and Starmen and dumps them into the chest. Toad stomps on the items to make sure they’ll fit. He then carries the chest to the pipe and throws it in as he stops to catch his breath.)

Toad: Real World, here I come!

(He jumps in the pipe. At the jail Luigi isn’t having much luck digging with his hands.)

Sledge Brother: Prisoners! Since it’s your birthday, you’re allowed visitors!

(Toad, dressed as a bearded Hippie with glasses, walks in with a cake and sets it down on the floor.)

Luigi: Hey, it’s not my birthday, and I know it’s not your birthday, Mario. Is it your birthday?

(Toad quickly reveals his face.)

Luigi: Toad!

(Mario quickly covers Luigi’s mouth.)

Sledge Brother: Okay, you’ve delivered your present, you gotta go!

(Toad walks off as Mario digs through the cake.)

Luigi: Hey, well at least at my birthday, it’s nice to have a cake!

(Mario discovers a block in the cake.)

Mario: This isn’t a cake, Luigi, it’s a super block!

Luigi: Oh, too bad! I was hungry.

(Mario karate chops the block and a Super Leaf pops out. Mario gains raccoon power and slams the wall with his tail, causing the alarm to go off and revealing an exit to the street where Toad is waiting. The Sledge Brother picks up the phone.)

Sledge Brother: King Koopa! King Koopa! The prisoners have escaped!

(Koopa and the kids are driving around in a car.)

Koopa: Escaped have they? Kooky, take the wheel! This looks like a job for Super Koopa.

(Koopa uses the pendant to gain raccoon power and flies out of the car to the jail.)

Mario: Look! Up in the sky!

Luigi: Is it a bird?

Toad: Is it a plane?

Koopa: No way plunger face! It’s Super Koopa!

(Toad pulls a Super Leaf out of the chest and throws it at Luigi.)

Toad: Luigi, catch!

(Luigi gains raccoon power and flies off with Mario.)

Mario: Thanks for everything, Captain!

Captain: Au reviour, raccoons!

(The Brothers chase Koopa, who slows down and whips Mario with his tail, causing him to lose raccoon power and start falling. Luigi catches him. Toad runs up the Eiffel Tower and unties Princess, who unravels to the ground. Toad then slides down and the brothers meet up with them.)

Toad: Now I know why you left me behind, Princess! Sorry I got mad.

(Princess pulls a Fire Flower out of the chest.)

Princess: Mario, heads up!

(She throws it at Mario and he gains fire power.)

Mario: Got it, Princess!

(Luigi grabs Mario and flies up to Koopa. Mario shoots a few fireballs and one of them hits Koopa and he loses raccoon power and falls into the river. Mario shoots a few more fireballs at him as they land on the shore.)

Luigi: Hey, you think he’s still down there?

(Koopa surfaces at the shore next to a green shoe.)

Koopa: Aha! This Kuribo clog offer may be just the thing to kick some sense into a couple of flies!

(Koopa uses the pendant on the shoe, which morphs into a real Kuribo’s shoe. He starts stomping around in it.)

Mario: I don’t believe it! Kuribo Koopa!

(Luigi grabs Mario and they fly off. Koopa uses his pendant to regain raccoon power and flies after them in the shoe.)

Koopa: You’ll never escape the wrathful doom of this Shoe! Ha ha ha!

(Koopa uses the pendant to gain fire power along with raccoon power and starts shooting fireballs. The song “My Kuribo” begins. A fireball hits the Brothers, causing them to both lose their powers. Princess and Toad throw each of them a Fire Flower and they gain fire power. They shoot some fireballs and Koopa loses his powers but regains them with the pendant. Koopa shoots them and they lose their powers again and he laughs. Princess and Toad throw them each a Starman and they become invincible. Koopa shoots them but the fireballs bounce back and hit himm causing him to lose raccoon power and the Shoe. But when Koopa lands he uses the pendant to regain raccoon power and the Shoe and starts flying again. The invincibility also wears off.)

Luigi: Oh no!

(Princess and Toad throw them each a Frog Suit, which they put on, and start dodging Koopa. Koopa keeps missing them and gets really ticked. Koopa then goes after Princess and Toad and jumps out of the Shoe. He grabs them and flies off, but the Brothers jump on him and he drops them. Koopa goes flying into a tree and loses his raccoon power. But he gets it back and flies back into his Shoe. He does some more stomping and Princess pulls a Kuribo’s Shoe out of the chest and Mario jumps in it. Koopa approaches Luigi and
almost stomps on him but Mario kicks him and Koopa goes flying out of the shoe and the pendant goes out of control as Koopa keeps changing from Raccoon Koopa to Fire Koopa to Frog Koopa. The pendant breaks and Koopa lands in the sewer. The Koopa Kids pull up in the car and jump in after him. The song ends.)

Kootie Pie: Daddy! Wait for me!

(Mario returns to the gang, who is cheering.)

Mario: I don’t think Paris will be seeing them ever again!

Toad: You’re right. That King Koopa may have thought he was super, but when you’re talking Super Mario Bros., there’s just no substitute for the real thing!

Mario: Yeah, but we couldn’t have done it without our Toad!

(Curtain falls.)
